High school fall ball includes 2 practices a week, tryouts for the Spring season, and a local playday tournament. 

Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30p-7:30p beginning on 9/6 and ending on 11/15 (Tryouts are tbd) on Field 3 at WHS.  The detailed practice schedule can be found on the WGL Fall 2023 Calendar linked from home page.

There will be a mandatory parent/player kick off meeting from 6p to 7p on 8/31 at WHS Recital Hall. 

ALL new and returning players registering for Westlake Girls High School Lacrosse Team (Varsity D1 or JV) for the 2023-2024 season need to be registered with WGL. Please complete the online registration process and upload all of the required forms as soon as possible.

The cost is $525, includes try out fee and play day fees, and payment in full is required upon completion of registration.  If the Fall season were to be canceled we will visit issuing partial refunds or applying credit to the Spring season.

Tryouts and team assignments will be completed in October.  

Note: There will be a second registration in November for the Spring season. The fee has not yet been determined. Please contact us at [email protected] if this creates a financial burden.

WGL’s Cancellation Policy:

Once a registration fee has been received by WGL that amount can be refunded minus a $35.00 administration fee as long as the registration period is still open and practices have not started.  After the registration period has closed and before the first practice begins we are able issue 75% refunds and charge the $35.00 administrative fee.  Once practices begin, there will be NO refunds given.

• Only Parents, Legal guardians or persons 18 years of age or older can enter information for this program. 
• Parents/Guardians must create a personal account FIRST and then create an account for their Player. 
• PLAYERS should not be creating accounts.
• US Lacrosse membership valid through May 2023 required. You can get a membership or renew your current one on the US Lacrosse website at www.USLacrosse.org. If you are under 18 you will need a parent guardian to complete the US lacrosse membership information and a way to pay online for the membership.
